Melanie Oudin will wear the word COURAGE on her custom mi adidas footwear at the 2010 US Open (click on the image to blow it up). Her 2009 pair, imprinted BELIEVE, took her to the US Open quarterfinals.

And so our number one girl marches on towards the singles title. Doubles is done; surprise #2 today.  I like Serena’s tennis dress at Wimbledon. Simple and slimming with plenty of shaping detail most of which you can’t see at first glance.

Pictured is the Nike Control Lawn Womens Tennis dress, $80. A mesh lined bra is built in; excellent coverage for an ample chest. Voltage Cherry piping on the armholes, under the bust (more…)

The Czech was once one of the brightest new stars, and her indisputably good looks only added to her popularity, but in the recent years her results were more than disappointing, especially having in mind her wasted talent.

The fact that Vaidisova lost in the first round of an (more…)

AnaIvanovic.com recently announced Ivanovic’s US Open 2010 tennis dress with a very meek looking shot of Ana attempting a fist (see below). Perhaps she had the flu during the shoot.

I prefer the shot at left from the just finished Bank of the West Classic which illustrates the fact that the woman still has some mojo. In it she wears the white version of the US Open dress — the one she wore at Wimbledon.

Both are the Fall (more…)
