LONDON: The World No. 1 tennis player in the world, Serena Williams of the United States will not feature in at least three of the WTA events before the US Open.

World No.62 Ana Ivanovic followed up her first round upset of Victoria Azarenka with a 6-1 7-5 victory over Yaroslava Shvedova at the Western & Southern Financial Group Women’s Open in Cincinnati. It’s Ivanovic’s first back-to-back win since the tournament in Rome in May when she reached the semifinals.

Rafael Nadal is all Mr. Clean in his Wimbledon whites. Well, tight white top, big muscles…that’s about it I guess. I like this top though, the Vamos Lawn Crew Tennis shirt by Nike, $65 in white and light wild mango. It is very close fitting so if you don’t care for cling (most of us don’t have Nadalesq abs) try sizing up.

Maria Sharapova and her boyfriend Sasha Vujacic had a vacation in a small town of Udine, Italy. They attended the wedding of Sasha’s friend and were also spotted walking the streets of the town in northeastern Italy.

It was a big weekend for Prince, a hat-trick of sorts. Albert Montanes (pictured left) took down Roger Federer Saturday and then Frederico Gil in the finals Sunday in Estoril Portugal.
Montanes wore Prince’s new Gold Collection spring 2010 apparel line; The top is the Prince GLM Crew — all performance in CoolMax fresh FX.
