LONDON: The World No. 1 tennis player in the world, Serena Williams of the United States will not feature in at least three of the WTA events before the US Open.

World No.62 Ana Ivanovic followed up her first round upset of Victoria Azarenka with a 6-1 7-5 victory over Yaroslava Shvedova at the Western & Southern Financial Group Women’s Open in Cincinnati. It’s Ivanovic’s first back-to-back win since the tournament in Rome in May when she reached the semifinals.

It is very close fitting so if you don’t care for cling (most of us don’t have Nadalesq abs) try sizing up.

It was a big weekend for Prince, a hat-trick of sorts. Albert Montanes (pictured left) took down Roger Federer Saturday and then Frederico Gil in the finals Sunday in Estoril Portugal.

LONDON: 21st seeded Vera Zvonareva of Russia beat the veteran Belgium player Kim Clijsters in evenly contested match by 2-1 and moved into the semi finals of the 2010 Wimbledon Championship.
